People have yet to find out how powerful the arts can be! I also listened to a Palestinian Youth Group of activists who are involved in mobilizing the unionized workers at the various European ports to prevent any German Maersk ship (one of the biggest shipping lines) full of weapons for USrael from stopping at their ports - successfully! And it's growing.
These give hope but I fear not fast enough for the Palestinians which breaks my heart daily. The stories coming out of Gaza, and from those I've come to know and support, are horrific and descriptive of the coldest cruelty, hatred and inhumanity. There are not just moral inconsistencies, there is a complete and total absence, a black void, of morality in the colonial powers of Usrael, UK, Germany, etc and the weapons, oil, surveillance and mercenary multicorporations, banks, et al. These have become Hungry Ghosts who are ravenous for PROFIT, land, oil reserves, pipelines and all resources at any human, plant, animal or environmental cost to our Mother Earth. These forces are increasingly out of control and none of Her children are safe! I don't know what will stop this relentless machine, but that chant in Glastonbury burst out like a Force of Nature because it's time!!!
